He was also appointed a member of the United Nations Secretary-General\u2019s Scientific Advisory Board, a high-level body tasked with advising the UN on major global scientific and technological issues.<br><br>The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the significance of these distinctions for the visibility of Malian research and the strengthening of the country&rsquo;s scientific diplomacy.
